Mr. Josantony Joseph is currently the Advisor (Maharashtra) to the Commissioner appointed by the Supreme Court of India on Food Security. He is advisor/ consultant to a number of organizations (National and International) working on Rights Based Issues related to Water and Sanitation, Food issues, technical education, etc. He has many articles and publications to his credit including five books. His expertise on religions has been tapped into by UNICEF to help them prepare guidelines for working with FBOs or Faith Based Organisations in India, and also by Church groups to carry out a national survey (conducted in 10 languages) on Catholic Youth in India.His past appointments have included being CEO of an international funding agency, the Asia Partnership for Human development, Hong Kong, as well as being Head of the Dept. of Religious Studies, St. Xaviers College, Mumbai, and Director West zone, of the Govt. of India’s Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan . Mr. Joseph has been invited to conduct programs in a number of countries – in Africa, North America, Europe, South East Asia, and the Far East.
