Rizal has more than 30 year experiences in advising and managing development. He is currently the senior technical advisor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Indonesia Office in Jakarta. Rizal previously worked as consultant for the World Bank, UNDP, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) Australia, Global Affairs Canada (then CIDA), and GIZ. He was a former Secretary General/CEO Transparency International Indonesia, COO Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia, and Oxfam’s Country Director for Indonesia.
Rizal graduated from School of International Development, University of East Anglia in Norwich, United Kingdom, and Padjadjaran University in Bandung, Indonesia. He has also taken post-graduate courses at Cornell University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
